What this programme is about
When computers, networks, accounts and storage all work properly, most people barely notice the infrastructure underneath them. This technical route teaches you how those systems are installed, supported and kept available.
This TVET route is usually aimed at learners who want to install, configure, support and troubleshoot those systems.
You may work with operating systems, networking equipment, user accounts, cabling, storage and basic server administration.
Much of the job is invisible when everything works. The value becomes obvious when a system fails and someone needs to identify the cause quickly.
Good infrastructure practice depends on documentation, consistency and preventive maintenance, not only emergency fixes. Compare providers on lab equipment, networking practice, server exposure and whether students get enough hands-on troubleshooting time.
