Afua Kobi Ampem Girls' Senior High School

Afua Kobi Ampem Girls began as Atwimaman Secondary School, a mixed school. A National Schools Inspectorate Authority report records the school's establishment in 1972 and the later change into Afua Kobi Ampem Girls' Senior High School.

The transition to an all-girls school gave the school a very different purpose. Instead of serving a mixed student body, it developed around the academic, personal and leadership development of girls.
