About Serwaa Kesse Girls Senior High
Serwaa Kesse Girls Senior High has gone through several identities since the campus was established in Duayaw-Nkwanta in 1965. It began as a women's training college, later became a mixed secondary school and was eventually converted into a model girls' senior high school.
The present name honours Serwaa Kesse, the first Queen Mother of the Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Area. That history gives the school a strong connection to both girls' education and the community around it.
Serwaa Kesse Girls has Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts, and the programme pages can help you compare the subject combinations.

History
The school was established in 1965 as a Women's Training College during the First Republic.
The Ghana Education Service annual digest records that it became Duayaw-Nkwanta Secondary School on 15 August 1970 and operated as a mixed secondary school before another major transition in 2003.
In that year, the school was converted into a model girls' senior high school and renamed after Serwaa Kesse, the first Queen Mother of the Duayaw-Nkwanta Traditional Area.
That sequence matters because Serwaa Kesse Girls did not begin as the school you see today. Its identity was reshaped over time around a clearer mission of educating girls at second-cycle level.
Academics
Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts make up the programme list at Serwaa Kesse Girls Senior High.
That gives you six programmes with very different subject combinations. The practical work of Home Economics or Visual Arts are not the same as the mathematics and laboratory load you should expect in General Science.
Use the Agricultural Science guide to compare Agricultural Science with the other options at Serwaa Kesse Girls.

Serwaa Kesse Girls has a visible tradition in debate and sport. The GES school profile records national debate success as well as regional achievements in soccer, volleyball and handball.
That debating culture is still active. Students recently represented the school in a regional independence debate, where their performance was recognised by the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council.
The school has also hosted environmental activities, including a tree-planting exercise that involved students in conversations about environmental sustainability.
