About Bolgatanga Senior High School
Bolgatanga Senior High School, better known as BIGBOSS, was established in 1970 to expand access to secondary education in the Upper East Region. The school began at Zuarungu before developing into the large mixed day-and-boarding school now located at Winkogo.
Its motto is "To the Glory of God and the Honour of Ghana." Old students are known as TANGABISI, and their organised support has become a visible part of the school's story.
BIGBOSS has Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts, and the programme pages can help you compare the subject combinations.
