History
Kwabenya Community Senior High was commissioned in 2016 as part of Ghana's Community Day Senior High School programme.
A Ghana News Agency report records that the school was commissioned on 11 November 2016 through a Government of Ghana and World Bank supported project.
The school's creation was about access. It gave Ga East its own public senior high school instead of requiring families to depend mainly on schools outside the municipality.
