Nandom Senior High School

Nandom Senior High School was founded in 1968 by the Brothers of the Immaculate Conception, a Catholic religious congregation active in education in the Upper West Region. The school began with only 38 students.

A school history and profile records the Catholic foundation, the all-boys identity and the school's long-standing focus on academic work, self-discipline and Christian moral education.

The earlier name, St. Michael's Secondary School, still appears in alumni memories and older references. The change of name did not remove the Catholic character that shaped the school from the beginning.
