History
Notre Dame Seminary Senior High School was founded in 1960 by Very Rev. Fr. Armand Lebel and the Catholic missionary community in Navrongo. The first class consisted of 31 students.
A history of the school records its origins as an all-boys Catholic school and explains the idea behind Scientia et Fide.
The school began primarily as a minor seminary preparing young men for possible further formation, but it later developed within Ghana's public education system while retaining its Catholic character.
The seminary tradition still shapes the school, but attending Notre Dame does not mean every student is preparing for priesthood.
Academics
General Arts and General Science make up the programme list at Notre Dame Seminary Senior High School, Navrongo.
That narrow programme list gives the school a very focused academic identity. If your plans require Business, Home Economics, Visual Arts or Agricultural Science, this is not the right programme match.
