About Abetifi Presby Senior High
Abetifi Presby Senior High, usually called APSEC, has been part of secondary education on the Kwahu Ridge since 1956. It began as a private co-educational school, later entered a partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana and eventually became part of the public system.
The motto, Sɔm Wo Man, means "Serve Your Country." It gives the school's Presbyterian identity a practical direction: learning is expected to prepare you to contribute beyond yourself.
Students at APSEC can choose Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts, with the programme pages showing what each choice covers.

History
APSEC was established in 1956 as the first second-cycle school on the Kwahu Ridge. It began as a private co-educational school before entering into partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in 1963.

That sequence matters because the school did not begin as a finished public school. It moved through private, mission-supported and public phases as secondary education expanded in the area.
If you join APSEC today, you are entering a school whose story is closely tied to the growth of education across the Kwahu Ridge.
Academics
Abetifi Presby Senior High teaches Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts at SHS level.
That range gives you several directions, but the programme name is only the beginning. Your electives, practical work and later admission requirements are what should drive the choice.
The Agricultural Science guide shows what students study in that option at APSEC.
