About E.P.C. Mawuko Girls Senior High
E.P.C. Mawuko Girls Senior High in Ho was established in 1983 by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, with Rev. Professor Noah Komla Dzobo closely associated with its founding. The school was created specifically for girls and later developed a full boarding component.
That girls-only identity still matters. Mawuko is not simply a mixed school with one gender removed; its history, leadership culture and current investment in digital learning are all shaped around helping girls build confidence and academic range.
The programme choices at Mawuko Girls are Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts; see the programme pages for the subjects behind each name.

History
Mawuko Girls was established in 1983 by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana. Rev. Professor Noah Komla Dzobo is widely credited with the founding of the school.
A published history of the school records that Mawuko gained boarding-school status in 1997, expanding the school beyond its earlier day-school structure.
The school is one of the long-established girls' secondary schools in Ho and has retained a strong E.P. identity while growing its academic and residential capacity.
The important part of that history is the purpose behind it: Mawuko was built around the idea that girls in the region should have a dedicated place to learn, lead and prepare for further education.
Academics
