About Kade Senior High/Tech.
Kade Senior High/Tech was founded in 1982 by the then chief of Kade, Nana Appiawiah I, together with community elders who wanted a stronger secondary and technical education option for young people in the area.
The school began modestly with eight male students in an abandoned match-factory building and later developed into the mixed day-and-boarding school commonly called KASSTECH.
The options at KASSTECH are Agricultural Science, Applied Technology, Business, General Arts, General Science and Home Economics; compare their subjects on the programme pages.

History
KASSTECH was established in 1982 by Nana Appiawiah I and elders of Kade in response to the educational needs of young people in the town and surrounding communities.
The school started with only eight male students and initially operated from the abandoned Industrial Development Corporation match factory in Kade.
That beginning is useful context for the school today. KASSTECH was built around the idea that academic and technical education should both be available locally.
Academics
Agricultural Science, Applied Technology, Business, General Arts, General Science and Home Economics make up the programme list at Kade Senior High/Tech.
The public register labels the technical programme as Technical. SideScholar maps that programme to Applied Technology so it stays consistent with the Secondary programme catalogue.
Before choosing Applied Technology at KASSTECH, read the Applied Technology guide and check the subject mix.
Admissions & Entry Guidance
Applications to Kade Senior High/Tech. go through the national placement system after BECE. Look at the subjects in Agricultural Science, Applied Technology, Business, General Arts, General Science and Home Economics, not only the KASSTECH name.
Check the CSSPS website for your KASSTECH result. If you are placed at KASSTECH, the result will say whether you are a day student or a boarder.
School placement is managed through CSSPS.
Facilities
KASSTECH has classroom and residential facilities, and its technical programme depends particularly on practical learning spaces.
Its technical electives include areas such as Building Construction Technology and Woodwork, so tools, workshops and supervised practice are part of the time at school.
Student Life
KASSTECH combines academic and technical students on one campus, which means students encounter classmates learning in very different ways.
Sport, clubs, competitions and student leadership add another layer beyond the timetable.
Accommodation
Kade Senior High/Tech. runs day and boarding arrangements. Day students leave after school activities, while KASSTECH boarders continue with meals and evening study on campus.
When your KASSTECH placement arrives, look for the part that says day or boarding.
