History

History

Kintampo Senior High was established on 15 October 1971 with 32 students, 29 boys and 3 girls, and three male teachers.

A published school history records that the school was later absorbed into the public system and moved to its current location in November 1986.

That small pioneer intake makes the school's later growth easier to appreciate. KINSHS began with one small group and developed into one of the major second-cycle schools in the Kintampo area.
