About Sacred Heart Senior High, Nsoatre
Sacred Heart Senior High in Nsoatre, usually called SAHESS, was established in 1977 and later absorbed into Ghana's public education system in 1984. It remains a Catholic mixed day-and-boarding school run within the tradition of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus.
The school motto, "Love and Service," captures the character of that tradition. Academic ability matters, but students are also expected to develop judgement, empathy and a willingness to contribute to other people.
SAHESS gives students a choice of Agricultural Science, Business, General Arts, General Science, Home Economics and Visual Arts; the programme pages set out the subjects in each one.
