History

St. Dominic's began in 1980 as one of Ghana's regional pilot experimental junior secondary schools under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph Glatzel.

The school transitioned into St. Dominic's Secondary Technical School in 1991. Its official history also credits the Presbyterian Church of Pepease with releasing land that helped the school expand.

That combination of Catholic leadership and Presbyterian support gives the school's development an unusually ecumenical community story.
