History
Real Amass was established on 30 January 1950 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana. Dr. S. B. Ahmad became the first headmaster, beginning with 25 students and seven teachers.
The school's official history explains that classes first used rooms belonging to the Ahmadiyya Primary School at Asafo before the school moved to its present site near the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Otumfuo Sir Osei Agyemang Prempeh II supported that move by providing land and financial assistance for the first building. The school later entered the public educational system while retaining its Ahmadiyya identity.
Religious diversity has been part of the school from early on. Real Amass developed as a Muslim mission school without restricting education to Muslim students.
Academics
Real Amass prepares students for the WASSCE through Agricultural Science, Business, Home Economics, Visual Arts, General Arts and General Science.
The school's programme page shows how much choice sits underneath those six headings, including subjects such as Economics, Elective Mathematics, ICT, French and Islamic or Christian Religious Studies in different combinations.

Facilities
Real Amass operates as a large mixed day-and-boarding school, so its campus has to support academic work, residential life and student activities at the same time.
Transport is one practical part of that picture. The school has received support for student movement and school activities, including a 32-seater bus presented through a national public-office initiative.
Student Life
Real Amass has a Muslim mission identity, but its student community has long included people from different faiths. That gives religious tolerance a very practical meaning inside the school.
A 75th-anniversary feature describes students of different religious backgrounds studying, living and taking part in school life together.
Sport, clubs, leadership, worship and school events add another layer to the academic programme. Students have room to build an identity that is not defined only by their WASSCE subjects.
Accommodation
T. I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School, Kumasi runs day and boarding arrangements. Day students leave after school activities, while Real Amass boarders continue with meals and evening study on campus.
