About Wesley Grammar School
Wesley Grammar School grew out of a Methodist plan to create a secondary school in Accra that combined serious academic work with character formation. It opened in 1956 and later settled at Ojo Kpakpo Hill, where the school developed into the mixed day-and-boarding school you see today.
The motto is Love, Truth & Service. The idea is simple: learning should show up in how you treat people, how honestly you work and what you contribute beyond yourself.

History
Wesley Grammar was founded in 1956 by the Methodist Church in Accra. It first operated as Wesley Boys High School before moving to its permanent site at Ojo Kpakpo Hill in 1960.
The school's official history connects that beginning to a broader Methodist idea of education: intellectual growth should sit beside discipline, faith, service and responsibility.
The school later became co-educational and grew into a much larger community. The original Methodist character is still easy to recognise in its values and approach to school life.
Academics
Wesley Grammar prepares students for the WASSCE through Agricultural Science, Business, Home Economics, Visual Arts, General Arts and General Science.
